Annuity.org surveyed more than 500 retirees and near-retirees to uncover their top concerns, including guaranteed income, low fees, and service quality. To complement these insights, Annuity.org interviewed licensed annuity agents nationwide to determine which companies are the most reliable and easiest to work with.

Each provider was then evaluated using hard data — such as annuity company ratings, total premiums sold, and other key performance indicators. Scores across these three dimensions were combined to create a balanced and trustworthy ranking of the leading annuity companies.
