In 2015, Phil was named the Head of Sales and Relationship Management for Retail Annuities. In this role he runs the Sales and Relationship Management teams responsible for distribution of annuity products through Wire, Independent and Bank firms.
Previously, Phil was the Head of Sales for the Financial Institutions Channel. His team was responsible for driving sales of New York Life Annuity products and MainStay Investments mutual funds through Banks and select Independent firms. Prior to this role, Phil spent three years as the Head of Relationship Management. In that role, he was responsible for coordinating all of New York Life and MainStay’s relationship efforts with key third party distribution partners. Before heading up Relationship Management, Phil spent over two years as the lead account manager for New York Life Investments parent company and largest client, New York Life. In that role he worked closely with Home Office Sales Management in setting and implementing strategy to help increase the sale of MainStay Investments through the NYL Agency Channel.
He joined the firm in 1992 after graduating from Adelphi University with a BBA in Management. He holds a license to sell Life Insurance in addition to his Series 6, 7, 24, 53, and 66 registrations. He resides in Oakland, NJ with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons, Brent and Luke.
